OUR STORY

Party in a Parcel began as a little idea from one busy solo mum (that’s me!) trying to plan a special birthday for my daughter (who just so happens to have a wonderful group of friends and equally fabulous mums!)

One afternoon, as I brainstormed ideas for her upcoming 4th birthday, I remembered a brilliant backyard party a fellow mum had hosted - complete with arts, crafts, and plenty of joy. The kids were happy, safe, and entertained, and the parents finally got a moment to relax, enjoy some bubbles, nibble on charcuterie, and actually chat. It was magic!

I was inspired! I decided to create a Mermaid Party with a seafood platter for the parents (as I love oysters and need an excuse to buy them!)

I transformed my courtyard into an underwater fantasy-land with sea creatures, mermaids, shells and a bubble machine. The result? Pure JOY!

The party was a hit, and Party in a Parcel was born.
